    Mount Bohemia in Michigan

Anyone ever skied it? I got an email with a survey in which you can win a free season pass

Sounds almost like the Mad River Glen of the midwest. I've never thought of Michigan as a ski state. All ungroomed trails and relies entirely on lake effect snow.

I also have been checking this place out for years. Sadly, it is a difficult trip for an east coaster.

A thread on them seems to come up every year. Looks cool, but I'm not traveling to Michigan just for that.

    My thoughts exactly.
"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived." - H. D. Thoreau

It looks great. That said, I'd have to have a lot of free time and extra money to burn to ever consider traveling to Michigan for skiing. I'd be more inclined to go during the summer and check out the Great Lakes actually.
