    3 Hours south from Salt Lake City, competing against the established mountains in Utah and free to people from CA for one day a weekand all the time for Utah residents. This definetly is not a marketing option for a lot of established mountains.

    The resort owners cited the successful model of the Las Vegas casino resorts as an inspiration for the Free Days campaign. “By owning or controlling all of the restaurants, services and rental properties around the resort and maintaining low overhead, we have the same advantage as the Vegas resorts. We can give lift access away for free yet still achieve a sufficient yield from our guests on food & beverage sales, rentals, instruction, retail or condo stays.” said Gadbaw. “

    This is a hedge fund that took over a defunct ski area. Will be interesting to see what happens.

    why one state that gets to ski for free, ya I love Caly but I am from NY, I suppose I could get a friend that lives in CA. to put me on his address lol but I will not do that.
