Didn't we have something like that on here a couple years ago, except it was hinged the other way (up and down in the back)? Might have been on Snowjournal.

So are you supposed to stop between turns and switch the bend to the other side? I don't see how this possibly works, but I do see how it looks rediculous.

Install GPS on it and maybe it will autopilot down the slope.... again I think it's designed for learning to ski, not the kind of skiing most of us are doing. Maybe I will see if I can get the creator to explain it here.

Oh I see, it's supposed to bend as you ski. Spring-loaded, or something.

Still don't see how having a sudden angle occur in the sidewall of your ski is either a good way to carve or hold an edge. Perhaps it's normal range of motion is more subtle than it's full range of motion.

Strikes me as a total gimmick either way. Then again when "shaped skis" first came out I thought they were a gimmick.

The video on the site didn't show very extreme bending that I could see. I think its targeted specifically to beginners

I asked the guy creating them on LinkedIn and he told me they are not designed for moguls, and reinforced the beginner / intermediate intent. I'd like to hear his take in more detail on the physics of it and why he thinks this helps.
