Yes...Mt. Cranmore immediately after the Blizzard of 1978. My brother and I had a travel pass because our grandmother had passed away during the height of the blizzard. Quick funeral, then that same day we hit the road. Absolutely nobody there but us at first, then a few locals. Absolutely unreal, with the Ledges open for the first time in a long while. I suppose it sounds cold to go blasting off on a ski trip right after Grandma went to her final reward, but how often does an opportunity come where an epic blizzard has just ended and the national guard won't let anyone on the road? The travel pass didn't say where we had to go, it just said we could travel. So we did.
