I read somewhere, or maybe heard it on top gear or something, that 230 hp is the most power a front drive car can handle.
a 532 hp minivan will manage to not get you where you're going embarrassingly fast!

The article says it has the differential from the TL...so I'm thinking it has Honda's "SHAWD".

I have that same engine in my truck(though mine is stock:-?). I am guessing the Odyssey also has, or can have the same transmission as my Ridgeline. FWD, but automatically becomes AWD when it slips. Also I can lock it into AWD if desired.
My truck is 250HP, and has some pretty good acceleration for a vehicle its size. Now double the HP and it could get real fun!
