2XU Active Women's Tri Singlet

We've always been fans of the old idiom, 'form follows function.' Luckily, 2XU is a fan as well. However, where 2XU succeeds where others have failed is in creating an equilibrium between the two. And nowhere is this better demonstrated than with its Active Women's Tri Singlet.
The rationale behind the Active Tri singlet's fabric choice is simple. We'll put it this way: If you were to ask ten triathletes to name a cooling fabric, nine out of ten would probably say some form of mesh. No shock there. However, 2XU wasn't going to use just any old mesh composition. Instead, it created the groundbreaking High Fil Mesh fabric. As we alluded to, this material places a dedicated focus on both moisture management and breathability. Although, the process to do so was two fold. For moisture wicking, 2XU used a high filament polyester that was placed with a cross-channeled pattern. Essentially, the fibers naturally work with the pattern in order to pull sweat away and quickly evaporate it at the surface. For breathability, the open cell mesh design allows excess vapor and heat escape from the core. Together, the two attributes work harmoniously to create a consistent level of cooling thermo-regulation.
However, if you do feel overheated during a particularly hard exertion, 2XU incorporated a 3/4 length, semi-autolock front zipper for on-the-fly heat dumps. Additionally, the singlet features an ample rear pocket for storage of your race day nutrition and essentials.
For fit, you'll find that the Active Tri singlet fits a tad bit looser than other 2XU singlets in the Comp or Compression lines. The ideology behind this is that 2XU intends the Active singlet to be used for short course racing. However, you'll still find it to be anatomically conforming to the body, as well as quite stretchable. This is due to its contoured seam placement. Essentially, this feature allows a full-range of flexible movement throughout the various, complex articulations of triathlon. Also, for added support, 2XU included its Internal Shelf Bra.
The 2XU Active Women's Tri Singlet is available in five sizes from X-Small to X-Large and in the colors Bondi Blue/coastal blue and Deep Purple/blister pink.
