It'll be interesting to see if this will change the layout of their area. Currently they have the jbar beginners area (Pasture) on one side of the resort and the chair accessible beginners area (Lower Meadows) on the opposite side of the resort. The distance between these areas isn't exactly convenient for skiers/riders that have limited skill to move around on flat ground effectively. I believe this expansion is above Lower Meadows so could create a larger more centrally located learning zone should they proceed in that direction.
