While ski boots are very specific to each person I figure I might as well review my new gear.
Me: 6', 195 lbs
What I like to ski: anything but woods.
Boots Tested at Belleayre in spring conditions and at Whiteface on hard snow, ice, packed powder, manmade bumps and soft fresh snow.
Foot- Wide across the ball of the foot, narrow heel, narrow ankle.
Thoughts:
1. These boots like going down steep trails. The steeper the trail section the better the boots fit and the more responsive and natural the foot-boot-ski connection felt. On flat trails where I wasn't as focused on keeping my weight forward they didn't feel as responsive.
2. The boots really take some time to warm up. For the first two runs or so they seemed a little stiff and tight but after that I could feel them really mold to my feet.
All in all I love them and they were a great purchase.
