Ok so I got this jacket as an xmas present and I love it. It's two layer gore-tex, seam sealed, totally comfortable shell. Have worn it in rain, snow, wind, warm, and cold since xmas and it has breathed great, kept the weather out and held up well on a few hard ice falls.
I fully reccomend the coat. At 229 it is also a great value.
