Along with the "slowest" thread, what are the longest duration lifts (ride time) in the northeast?

K skyeship is pretty long if you take it from the bottom.

It's 3 stage predecessor was even longer, I don't remember the exact time though

Hornet Double at Tenney, all 6000' of it. Its was 20+ minutes, the West Mt. Double is 1000' longer so it must be 25 minutes or so.

The original K gondola was 17,500', Skyeship is just under 13,000'.

The original K Gondola was a hell of a long ride. If I had to guess it would probably be Smugglers Notch Madonna I chair. It covers a great distance and is pretty darn slow.

My first time at Sugarbush....

My Friend: Here follow me, this lift goes back up.

Me: Wait, why are we going into the valley?!

My Friend: Oh, my bad wrong lift.....

*An eternity later

Me: I hate you....

You didn't notice the lift was facing in the wrong direction?

My friend is from VT and skis there "all the time." See this is why I dont support getting high on the mtn! :slap::lol:

It was snowing pretty hard and I was following his lead.

ooops!
the SBX is an 11 minute ride. I find it a bit freaky going down into the valleys

Consider the distance! At least you know it is covering a little over two miles so that is not that bad. I find that chair to be relaxing!

When a lift takes that long and covers a shorter distance, then it is painful!

The full line on the Whiteface double is one of the longer ones I remember, got to be close to 20 if you skip the midstation at the top of Mtn Run. Best views on the whole hill though so its not that bad.
