I hit up Hunter for the last skiing day of my 13/14 season. I had a free pass from a friend so I figured why not. It was in the upper 30's (maybe hit low 40's) with a few bits of wet snow-ish precipitation falling. Most trails were still open and got bumped up quick. I would describe it as frozen granular, not soft enough to be corn. Still fun but you had to work for every turn as it was a leg burning day for sure! The best trails were the ones least skied, Minya Konka was awesome as it was bumpy but not terrible. Still some frozen bits between the bumps but overall good conditions for April.

It was also pond skim day so I took a few pics.... Here are the characters..

I see our friend Gilligan made it this year. I hope he's got a report coming, too!
