I've been called a ski nerd, because I can rattle off weird statistic about multiple ski areas in the US. My wife always asks,"how do you know that, but foregt where you put your keys on a daily basis??"

I try to surround myself with a core group of friends who have essentially equals amounts of this obsession! We think that the folks that actually want the snow to melt so they can go to the beaches even earlier have issues ;)

Yes by co-workers, friends and family. Waiting for them to try to perform a intervention.

That would be pretty funny. Too bad a&e discontinued their intervention show, I'd be kind of curious to see what the "cure" or treatment would be

I've never heard those words, but people definitely think it's weird when you're gleefully hoping for massive snowfalls and the return or lasting of, freezing temperatures.

Their loss.

I'm "a fanatic" to my friends at home, and a lightweight to my friends on the hill. Comes up most often in October and May. Don't think I've been awarded "obsessed" yet.
