Aerial Vermont on the Smithsonian Channel

Did anyone else catch this? Pretty cool, there were no views of ski resorts, though they were mentioned. They did show Mansfield from the Chin side, you couldn't see the trails of Stowe. The footage was all shot in seasons other than Winter. Maybe they consider the trails a desecration of the landscape.

There was a quick glance of the slopes of Mount Snow near the end when I was watching yesterday as they were talking about Route 100. The fly over at that time was West Dover, and in the distance was Mount Snow. A view I've seen hundreds of times before (just not from a few hundred feet above Route 100! ;) )

On a related TV ski note, tomorrow night (Tuesday May 6th, at 10PM) the History2 channel has an hour segment on Pisten Bully's! DVR is set already! Mmmmm groomer porn! :)

Nice. I'll have to check that out. That's an interesting series and has some great footage in HD. We have the Smithsonian Channel on Roku so I'm sure it'll pop up eventually.
