Not sure how to word the subject of this thread, but I think funniest take on a name I've heard is "Slowkemo" for "Okemo". Saw on K-Zone that someone called it "P-Okemo-n" :smash:

I've also heard "Iceface" for "Whiteface", although I can't really vouch for that because I've never been there.

We used to call "Blue Hills" in Canton "Brown Hills" due to the fact there was usually bald spots on the trails over half of the time.

Oh, wait.... That's not a joke. My bad.

Kidding aside, Q-Bert.

Atticrash, a joke at nearby Memorial Hospital. I've also heard Attitrash, but that seems mean spirited.

Apparently in the UK and/or Australia the word "nob" equates to "johnson". So certain foreign nationals get a big chuckle out of US ski areas with the word nob in them, such as Nub's Nob, MI and Blue Knob, PA

My apologies. Upon closer examination I think I grabbed that photo of Squaw's KT22 terrain off web, not mine. Here's one from Alpine Meadows (Scott Chair) that is mine:
