Free ski magazine subscription

I found this link last season http://skicolorado.com/Pass-Benefits.aspx and clicked the link for *Free one-year subscription to SKI magazine, which leads to https://www.neodata.com/ITPS2.cgi?ordertype=reply+only&itemcode=SKIZ&iresponse=SKIZ.PASS

I don't know why they included this link for when you are just browsing the passes, but I filled in my information and I got my magazine 5 or so weeks later.

I think I've been on this site long enough for people to know I'm not trying to pull a fast one and trick people to farm information. I don't know if this is only good for first time ski magazine subscribers, but there is no catch, and I didn't get any unwanted spam either.

Thanks skiNEwhere...oh I just love the apres(sp?) ski part! ... Gear Guide is where I often get wind of what boots and skis I enjoy, through the limitless wisdom of companies, that will be tweaked....:roll:

Yea I saw that too. The main page link was for the 2014/2015 season though so hopefully it still works

The confirmation email says that there are 6 editions per year and that they are published between September and March.

I just subscribed to one of the magazines (can't remember if it was Skiing or Ski) and found it to be entirely junk. The internet has really put these guys on the ropes.

I got a confirmation Email. And agree that the content has taken a nosedive. SKI/SKIING was recently sold back to the last publisher so I have my fingers crossed.

I just got a survey from them as to my thoughts on the magazine. It was pretty ridiculous, but I told them their content sucks and that they should not literally cut and paste from one magazine to the other.

I just clicked the link, entered my info, and promptly got an email saying that I've been selected for a free year (6 issue) subscription. We'll see if it actually comes or not.

I can top that, I received 2 copies today!

The only thing I can think of is the fact I attended 2 Warren Miller movies (where they get your address) last year.

I subscribed last year for something like $5 per year. I think it's worth doing if the subscription is free. At $5, I think I overpaid by about $4.99.

I get 2 copies as well. My wife gets one and I get one. It is either from WM or from the Boston Ski show. I have been getting them free for the last 5 years or so. They must make money off just advertising and give it away free to everyone. The latest issue is about half ads. 1/3 of it is a straight "special advertising section" for deer valley.

Call the 800 number in the mag and ask them to combine the 2 subscriptions. I do it often and it just extends the length of the subscription. I am into 2018 now - if they make it that long.

Got the gear guide issue, I'm assuming it's from attending the Warren Miller movie two years ago. The show date completely slipped my mind last year, Alzheimers? My local shop gave me a card anyway, but I never got around to using any of the vouchers. I was tempted to try to redeem it using another venue to try to get a Gore voucher. Anyone ever redeem the WM vouchers for someplace other than where they saw the movie?
