3T ARX II Pro Alloy Stem

BKANO.jpg

3T garnered a strong following with its original ARX alloy stem lineup, which is why it decided to use the same design platform for its new ARX II. We feel it was a smart move on the Italian component manufacturer's part, as the new stem brings everything we loved from the previous model and threw in some updated features.
With the ARX II, the faceplate has been drawn in tighter at the top and bottom in comparison with the original ARX. This more ovalized frontal appearance still wears the signature 3T cutout logo, but it now carries a sleeker overall aesthetic. Going along with this notion, the ARX II's extension also wears a slightly flattened, or 'sculpted,' shape in comparison with the tubular section of the first-generation ARX.
On both clamping ends, 3T opted for the secure Torx-type fitment in place of the Allen bolts used previously. The faceplate received four of these M6 Torx bolts, and a single bolt securely clamps the stem to the fork's steerer tube. The entire stem was constructed using a lightweight, forged 2010 aluminum, which provides exceptional overall strength.
The 3T ARX II Pro Alloy Stem is available in lengths 70 to 140mm (with 10mm increments), and it comes in either a shot-peened Black anodized finished or Stealth colorway. The stem is available with either a +/- 6 degree rise or +/- 17 degree rise, and it fits a 1-1/8in steerer and 31.8mm handlebar. Additionally, the stem weighs roughly 135g (size 110 mm).
