Because time lost in transition can be a race-killer, the strap secures from the outside of your foot inward, ensuring that it won't interfere with the crankarms when you want to get on your way first, and then strap up.

It provides maximum power transfer, yet also allows a mild amount of flex at the arch so that your feet aren't completely ground-up when it's time to hit the ground running. It also incorporates silver fibers to reflect heat generated by the sweltering pavement. The upper is made of breathable microfiber and lightweight mesh for proper temperature regulation and durability. The Ergo Air Cool Stuff blue insoles are treated with Ice Fil, a moisture control technology that converts sweat to a refrigerant so your feet don't overheat.
