Bellwether constructed the Newton shorts with Powergrid Flash and compressive fabric panels. The Powergrid material is designed with a grid-like matrix that not only stretches to conform to your muscles, it also features a compressive quality. The Newton shorts' multi-panel design wraps your muscles for optimal support over the duration of your ride. Meanwhile, the fabric also pulls moisture away from the skin to keep you dry.
The Newton shorts are cut in panels to fit a woman's physique. A tall waistband ensures that it won't dig into your stomach while you are in the riding position. To keep your shorts from riding up while you pedal, Bellwether used a stretch band at the leg hem with a silicone gripper.
