Anyone who skis Cannon knows that one of the original red and white tram cars is now the entrance to the New England Ski Museum located next to the tram station. The other one has been moved to the new rest area on the north bound side of I93, it will get good exposure there and is a nice marketing effort. The new rest areas on both sides of the interstate will be a huge improvement. Further north, Bow Junction is finally nearing completion; it seems like they have been working on it forever. Once completed, this should help free up weekend traffic through the junction as it will have 3 lanes. Even further north on I93, a lot of paving has taken place the past few months that will provide a smooth ride for all us skiers heading to the mountains. It won't be too much longer now!

BTW - the new NH State Liquor Store, at least on the Northbound side of 93 at the rest stop has to be twice the size of the old one! I was amazed when I walked in there on my way to the NASCAR race just over a week ago! ;)

Yes I know. The post said the original red and white.I know the tram operator that was on the tram when it fell. There used to be 100 lb weights in the car to help the car from swaying when it was empty. He got all slammed up from those weights bouncing around with him.Crazy Ron,retired now.

Weren't the cars replaced on the old tram? If so there would be 4 of them out there. There is this one, NE Ski museum and I believe there is one at Clark's Trading Post. Any idea where the last one is?
