Maybe they'll do a location scouting trip and see all the "Don't Jersey Vermont" bumper stickers and opt for Hunter. Then again, they'd be more likely to chose K because of that.

They will probably go with the ski area that is willing to pay the most money.

Winter version of Jersey Shore coming to a northeastern ski area near you!

The New York Daily News is breathlessly reporting (or warning) that the creators of the once immensely popular “Jersey Shore” TV-er may be heading to a mountain resort near you.

The casting process is going on right now for the proposed show titled “Turn Up The Heat,” but as the Daily News wonders, “can you shoot a whole show in a hot tub?”

The producers claim the new show will be as over-the-top as their long-running reality series. The set? An as yet un-named eastern ski resort. Hunter or Killington, maybe?

“You partied with us all summer on the shore,” say the producers, “and now we’re back to redefine winter. It’s clearly designed to appeal to booze-swilling twenty-somethings who aren’t afraid of a little snow… you already know how hot the party is gonna be, even on ice.”

The Daily News wonders out loud if it will work: “A ski slope is a far different setting than a beach. For one thing, everyone is dressed. In layers.”

There is no network attached to the show yet and no quarantee, says the paper, that the project will even make it to the airwaves. But, if you fit the part, so to speak, and want to try for a role, just head to this casting website.

Anyone who has had the misfortune of skiing Mountain Creek knows where this show belongs.

Killington is already just like a reality show. I can't tell you how many times we've talked about trying to put a show together.

You could be the Situation on the new hit reality series, "K Access Road"

You ski in jeans, so you'd be perfect for it.

As a New Jerseyan, I've always found those funny. What it really demonstrates, ironically, is how little the average Vermonter knows about New Jersey.

This is probably not going to amount to a big deal and will be blown out of proportion, but it does have the potential to be the most awful thing that happens to the sport of skiing in the last 20 years. It's like Ebola in that regard.

Well, those would be the two most obvious choices. My guess is they'll go with Killington. More bars, larger canvas to shoot on, and the Hollwood folks will arrogantly & obnoxiously go for small town yucks like with that West Virginia show.

Aren't those bumper stickers about cows?

I'm sold. Think of all the great stories we would have for the tabloids when HS gets famous!
