Ouch. Liver disease? One of my earliest memories of "hard" rock was a live Cream concert special I saw on US tv around 1968. I think my dad was actually in the room too inattentively watching it while I was mesmerized. These guys were the bomb! I was at Hampton Beach, NH for two weeks in the summer of '68 and Sunshine of Your Love (Bruce cowrote) was playing non-stop in the arcades while we pumped dimes(?) into the pinball machines.

I know it's not the most weighty subject, but I wish Ken Burns would do one of his patented PBS documentaries on Rock "N" Roll before all the gods pass on.

amazing talent

71 years is a good run, but still quite young by today's standards.

Any statement yet from Eric and/or Ginger? I feel for them and Jack's family obviously.
