Royal Racing Drift Shorts
Born out of necessity, Royal Racing is the result of riders needing more than 'baggies' or a heavy motocross kit for mountain biking. With gear designed for a specific purpose, like the enduro-focused Drift Shorts, the benefits become immediately obvious.
Supporting this ideology is the Drift shorts' 600D Cordura fabric. Not only is it tough, but Royal Racing also went to great lengths in order to provide as much ventilation as possible. In fact, it took two years for Royal to develop sonic perforations that allow incredible air flow for excellent temperature regulation.
A mesh internal liner also assists in wicking perspiration away from the skin for an increased cooling capacity. And in addition to this, the mesh is also soft against the skin, further reducing friction from the pedal motion. In order to keep the Drift secure during pedaling, the wide, non-pinching waist features hook-and-loop TRP adjusters located at the hips. This prevents bunching at the front when saddled, and also keeps the adjusters from interfering with hydration packs.
Another nice feature for those who frequent trails with multiple water crossings, is a waterproof back panel. And for storage, the Drift Shorts have two hand pockets, one waterproof reverse hip pocket, and one thigh pocket.
