But, EvoFlex will not tear when placed under the demands of rugged trail riding, and it's also water resistant to keep you dry when brushing against damp foliage. Sugoi knows material is only one aspect to a quality, singletrack-worthy short -- and the Evo-X shell packs some features that set it apart. First off, the shell's waistband is much wider than traditional shorts and, rightfully, it uses a dual-snap closure to evenly distribute pressure.
The waistband also has inset adjustment tabs that are low-profile and streamlined to dial in the perfect fit without bulk or pack interference. This prevents hotspots and irritation, as does Sugoi's excellent anatomic panels and mesh inserts for cooling air flow. The technical fit and stretchy shell is complemented by a Mobil Mesh liner with RC Pro chamois.
The spandex mesh fits snugly against your skin to wick perspiration and keep you dry without negatively affecting mobility. The nylon RC Pro chamois is designed to support over the course of a long ride, and its quick drying properties actively transfer perspiration.
