Lost Valley is a small ski area located just outside of Auburn, Maine, not too far from I-95. In rapid succession, the area went from closed to limited open to fully open this off season, thanks to an outpouring of support from volunteers and local businesses.

Both chairlifts were running (very inexpensive lift tickets with flexible hours, including a 2 hour pass) with no lines. Most trails were open with packed powder conditions. While the expert runs are short and steep, the novice trails meander through stands of mature pine.

I was in Lewiston yesterday Bill. You might be right. Some of the deepest snow I saw in Maine this week

Amazing how much character some of these tiny vert areas have. I always had a blast at Nashoba Valley when I was a kid. Haven't gone much smaller than that though.
