Trip Report: First time to Cannon in quite a few years. Saturday was colder and windier than expected. We couldn't believe that the Peabody Quad was ski-on when we arrived at 9:30, but realized why when we started riding up... Note to lift engineers: Wind tunnels + Unsheltered chairs = Frostbite.

Summit quad was on wind hold and the tram house was packed, so we lapped Zoomer a bunch of times, then made our way over to Mittersill, where we had several nearly untracked runs down skiers' left. In fact, the entire Mittersill side was surprisingly quiet given the holiday week and how much snow was over there. Can only imagine how great it was after Saturday night's snow.

Nice Pics - we were at Black Mountain NH and wishing we were and Cannon, but it turns out that Black was probably the better place to be. They are low enough to be protected from the wind and it seemed nice for us there.
