Resort or Ski Area: Wachusett Mountain

Conditions: Packed Powder, Groomed, Mild in the 20's

Trip Report: So today was the first time I have been out on the snow in 25 days. I know extremely unacceptable, but hey this past weekend was chalk full of children's birthdays (including my own kid's) and just homeowner hell - I figured I needed an escape, even if it was for a few hours. So I got to the mighty Waaawaa around 1pm, with nobody there. It was great to have ski on and ski off all afternoon. I skied til about 4ish and hit Conifer, Smith Walton and 10th mountain a ton of times. Even better was the fact that I got half off the lift ticket for being a season passholder of Gunstock. Cost me all of $26! I think well worth the price of admission!

Here are some photos to feast your eyes on:

All in all today made finding out that my house will have a major demo job inside a little bit easier to swallow!

Basically, we had severe water damage to our home from ice dams. So come monday the contractors are demoing the inside of our home pretty much and we're having a full build of the interior. We get 4 nights in a hotel though!
