too early to start this?

Berkshire east has already posted their pass price (adult = 499) and offered the rest of this spring free to those who purchase a 15/16 pass

I am trying to decide between B-east and Mount Snow but haven't seen any info yet on the latter

Mount Snow's should be out in the next day or 2, as in one of her blogs last week, the GM said that '15-'16 passes would be going on sale the weekend of March 7 + 8 with the 1st price increase coming May 1st. She did mention in the passholders meeting about a month ago that we wouldn't be seeing any increases in pass prices for the '15-'16 season

Burke is coming out with theirs on Friday the 13th. That is ominous.

Do discount tickets belong in this thread also?

I have the link saved for the Vermont 3 Pass / 5 Pass page, but it is pretty lacking in details.

When do they go on sale?
Which mountains are valid?
How do they track 1 per mountain?
Are any of them interchangeable/tradeable?

Damn the price for us (wife son and I) will be $100 more @ $1306. Buy before the end of the season, get 6 any day tickets. Not bad for three people.

Ragged is out of their minds at $699.

Crazy that I paid $299 & $329 the two years I got passes about five years ago. That was far too cheap obviously.

Given Raggeds product and the price of the competition, I'd think $499 as an early bird and $599 as a full price would be a fair market value.
Gunstock at $459 seems like a real value when up against Ragged but Sunapee comparable pass is $929 (includes Okemo)
You can't get Sunapee by itself it seems so Ragged pass when compared against their 2 most direct competitors is probably fair.

$499 before 4/30...not sure why Ski NH is not picking up on this?

I'm not in the market for a season pass next yr and will continue the variety/discount game but 16-17 I will most likely get a pass.
That season will be when my son is 3 (turning 4 that February) and I will look to enroll him in a seasonal lesson program where we go up together every Sat and/or Sunday.
Gets me skiing, out of the house so wife has her time, and my son hopefully gets good with that weekly reinforcement of a structured lesson program.

He does the lessons while I ski until Noon/12:30 and then we ski a bit in the afternoon together before heading home.

A Cannon NH Resident pass + their incredibly priced seasonal kids program (36 sessions for only $719) seems like a winning combo for what I'm thinking about.

I've thought about going Cannon Resident pass. If Peaks offering wasn't such a great deal for 3 mountains, I'd be all over it. My general issue with NH skiing is there isn't one single mountain that I love enough to ski at almost exclusively. Wildcat comes the closest.

The Peaks pass is appealing because I can be at Crotched in 1 hour for that quick hit.
The issue is can I envision myself making the back and forth slog on 16 every wknd up to Wildcat?
Cannon and 93 is so much easier.
If I could ski Crotched some nights after work on a somewhat regular basis that may change things for me but as of now that is not a viable option.

I was looking at the Berkshire East pass when I was there on Monday. $499 isn't too bad considering there's plenty of this season left as well. I worry about getting screwed with a bad snow year next season, but since they've recently upgraded snowmaking and lifts I think it'd be a decent investment. Unfortunately, the pass will not cover their bike park this summer. If it did, it'd be a no-brainer for me. I wonder if we could write management and get them to include it. Or at least offer a substantial biking discount for winter pass holders.
