De Marchi Sentiero Mountain Bike Bib Shorts - Men's
De Marchi developed its new Sentiero Mountain Bike Bib Shorts similarly to its Veloce road counterpart, in that they rely on a carefully selected blend of compressive fabrics and a supportive chamois to keep you comfortable and fresh in the saddle.
The shorts were constructed using several select blends of multi-density and multi-stretch fabrics. These dense materials incorporate a high elastane content in order to deliver a firm compressive fit around key muscle zones. The quads and glutes were targeted with a generous amount of compressive support, while the areas around the inner thighs, saddle area, and cuffs have more of a gentle hold. De Marchi's stretch materials transition into carbon fiber mesh bib straps and back panel, providing you with the ultimate in ventilation and comfort by targeting the front and backside of your upper torso.
De Marchi placed an equal focus on implementing technical fabrics into the Sentieros as it did refining the bib shorts' fit. Like previous iterations, these shorts were created with the perfect combination of freedom of movement, stability, and breathability. This contoured fit was made possible using the company's Body Framing Technology as a means to stabilize the shorts while in the cycling position. This is accomplished using pre-shaped fabric panels that closely follow the body while in motion. At the cuffs, asymmetrically-designed, laser-cut grippers keep the panels secure.
De Marchi paired its new mountain-specific CTM Elastic Interface Technology (EIT) Chamois with the Sentiero bib shorts. This chamois incorporates different high-density damping foams, which have been oriented around the sit bones " where most of the body weight is concentrated for the mountain-bike saddle position.
