Ok - listen to this and imagine yourself skiing between the Aspens and knee deep powder in Rusutsu Resort, Hokkaido, Japan. Escape the political crap going on here and just enjoy this! Japan is on the top of my list of places to go ski and I get the itch every Winter.

Why did you have to bring this up?
Hokkaido island is so high on my places to ski list.
Have heard nothing but amazing reports from there.
Some big resorts that have the name and amenities are worth visiting.
There are also a lot of smaller areas like Asahidake that are less commercial with lots of off-piste terrain.
light pow, sushi, hot soaking tubs, who is going to set up the trip?
Will need 14 days with all that wing time.
