A friend of mine was looking into gear and I was helping him with finding deals. About two weeks later he sent me links to The House for products by Teton, Sapient, Sierra and Arctic Edge and was asking if I had ever seen these. I suggested he stick to brands that he recognizes. The brands mentioned above seem to be a low end product that The House and Pro Board Shop (one in the same) uses to target folks that want to spend less on gear and are priced accordingly.

Does anyone know more?

The descriptions makes no sense whatever:
Sierra skis are reliable, modern ski gear given their superb slanted cap construction and useful hybrid rockers. These skis are ideal for athletes of all ability levels because they provide safety characteristics to keep you on the move, and performance features such as twin tip shape, and wood core material for better speed rates. Rock the rails with ease thanks to components like an early rise rocker type that provides additional power to weave through the snow.

The sturdy Sierra skis are ideal for skiing practice and competition instances due to the excellent durability and resistance. Sierra skis have been structurally designed with supreme speed and balance in mind. Perfect for free-skiing, these have a camber that is unique for all-mountain terrains. Slide through the snow and trees with the sufficient stability to provide a superior skiing experience. In short, Sierra skis will satisfy all your skiing needs all thanks to their amazing attributes!

I would stay far far away from these.

Exactly - I suggested he stick to brands that he recognizes. I would never consider them. I have seen them on the mountain though.
