Good day!
I will tell about my trip in April (1-7 of April) to the resort of Rosa Khutor. First, a ticket for 7 days I bought from a tour operator, the cost was 280 $ per person for accommodation in a double room. It was a flight Saint.Petersburg-Sochi-Saint.Petersburg, transfer airport-hotel-airport and complimentary Breakfast. The hotel was selected Rosa Ski Inn. the advantages of this hotel that it was next to the lift and we didn't have to take a bus or taxi each time, firstly, and secondly, it is located at a height of 1170м, which also has a positive effect on snow quality and third, just for information during the Olympic games there lived the Olympians)). Rose Khutor Resorts has the most highest peak in Krasnaya Polyana, it's named Rose Peak (elevation 2320m). Breakfasts were high quality, there were cereal, fruits, vegetables, eggs, tea, coffee, pastries, cakes, spaghetti, different souses, etc.
Now speak about the ski-pass. In Krasnaya Polyana 3 resorts: Rosa Khutor, Alpika-service, Gazprom. So in Rose Khutor ther are the most expensive ski passes and can be taken only in whole day or several days in a row. let's say for 4 days it costs for us 105 $. unlike Gazprom and Alpika, rose more slopes and lifts, respectively, and probably more expensive.
I didn't visited Gazprom and the Alpika Service Resorts, I can only judge by the reviews of the others, The quality of riding in Rose Khutor is higher, plus there was a lot of events: festival “Boogel Woogel”, bike show, camp snowboarding and skiers, all sorts of competitions, there was something to see in addition to skiing and mountains. Of course all the tracks were prepared by snowcats in the evening. The most popular tracks were Maze, Ober Khutor, Nagano, Dryad, the Men's Olympic downhill, etc. routes for every taste and ability)
So If you will ask me, can I recommend this resort, I will surely do this. The quality of this resort is high.
