Inspiration for us all. Only 58 seasons to go for me to catch George. I'm up for the challenge!

From that article about Lou Batori: "He frequently skis with Batori acting as a wing-man protecting him from oncoming skiers and riders." That might be the real problem with 100 year old skiers. They ski fine but they can't necessarily protect themselves from other skiers and boarders. Collisions happen all the time, including in the lift line, but this is a real big issue for 100 year olds.

Very true. Luckily at 106, you can choose the times of day and the days that are to ski as you're certainly not working and probably are not trying to ski for a full 8 hours at a time.

Who'd have thought that upon reaching 100 and still be skiing, you'd be shown up by a 106 year old whipper-snapper.

The trails Lou is skiing on are 1,300' to 1,500' long. they are also very wide and when he skis it is during the week in the daytime.
