Resort: Crotched Mountain - Bennington, NH

Condition: About 6 inches of powder!

Trip Report:
Wow, what a difference a day makes in terms of ski conditions! With yesterday's post ice storm conditions to today's powder, it was like night and day skiing in New Hampshire. So with Gunstock being closed today, I decided to head up to Crotched for an afternoon session, on this Christmas Holiday. Being able to ski in such light fluffy powder really was a treat, since I hardly get to catch days like this where it was so plentiful. The best part was I had multiple untracked runs to boot. All in all it was well worth the drive and one of my best days on the snow in years. Kudos to Crotched for not grooming anything! And now, onto the photos of course:

Virtually first tracks!

speden it certainly has! I haven't skied this much before January in as long as I can remember. On New Years day, I hope to get my son into some ski lessons. Although it is going to be down right cold for a 6 year old with a high of 10 at least up at Gunstock. Either way I am really happy for some early returns on the snow this year!
