I wasn't a fan of the last version when it released a few years ago but it grew on me for ease of use and lack of clutter.

The new one looks like a copy of Stratton's site, 'cept not as good.

Jay Peak still wins the "worst ski area website redesign" award by a mile, it's a total dumpster fire now.

That's because the noobs in the web development industry tell people sites need to be designed "mobile first".

I can tell you usually that just means they have no imagination or design skills and should be taken as a warning that "the desktop version is going to be lackluster".

Anyway looking at the source code (CTRL+U) it appears to be an in-house POWDR job. The site is not beyond hope with some minor improvements and attention to detail.

I think it's ok, didn't look very deep though.

I agree that "mobile first" sounds really great but isn't. On mobile everything is stacked, it's really just about the order. Desktop requires more thinking. IMO.
