WCAX Covers Stowe: Circa 1990-1991

I recently found on YouTube WCAX's special "First Republic: The Fourteenth Star" Program for Lamoille County. In 1990-1991 WCAX went around the State and covered each county with highlights and stories from each.

In this video, they covered Stowe's early season skiing (at 10:14) and snowmaking operations (at 32:30). Great video from 1990 with some real characters and a lot of talk about Operation Desert Storm and the recession.

Skimming thru it now, great picture of Bernie Sanders at 9:00. He would've needed a very different actor to play him on SNL back then lol.

That would be Bernard Sanders with his high priority of milk subsidies.

I noticed the mustache as well.
