    Ski resort conditions accuracy

Greg, would it be improper to ask for folks to report the advertised conditions right next to the actual conditions?

Of course, I am thinking of all the times the resort advertises packed powder for about 3/4 of the entire season. This, of course, represents a bit of embellishment. After a while, this could help us all get a feel for how to "interpret" what the resorts are advertising. I am aware that some do better than others, and this could help in the weekend trip planning.

I certainly don't have a problem with folks voluntarily posting the ski areas' reported conditions versus what they actually experienced. I think you're right in that it will help us all best gauge the "actual" conditions.

However, I would hesitate to specifically request that users do that as part of a TR. After all, I do have a solid rapport with many in the industry and they may look at that as a conflict of interest. It's all about balance. I won't discourage it though...
