Dave and I met up with Dylan G. again today for what was another awesome day
in the Stowe trees. The wide open hardwoods all the way down to RT 108 are
hard to beat. The amount of snow up there in Mansfield's bowels is
impressive. All in all, trees and a lot of snow make the right combination.
I love knowing its going to be a good day when I see this on the drive in.

We bushwhacked around at times as we skied from shot to shot all around the
gondola. The best stuff was definitely in the side-country glades like
Angle Food and the Bench...we took run after run getting reacquainted with
this flank of Mansfield. While yesterday we skied the southern end of the
mountain on terrain off the triple, today we skied only at Mansfield North.
I'll be skiing all week. Maybe I'll ski the quad tomorrow. Spruce
Thursday? Whole mountain tour on Friday? Teardrop and skin? The options are limitless right now.
