Arnold Arboretum, 2/23/08 sledding TR

Ms. Shwilly and I went sledding with several friends on the hill in Arnold Arboretum. We did some long runs down most of the hill, mostly headfirst, but sometimes sitting. Sledders found themselves targets of snowballs. We did some tandem runs and found that the extra momentum carried us farther through untracked spots. Then we focused on building a jump and taking shorter runs. We did the jump until the landing got hardpacked and down to leaves in some places. Z. hit the jump headfirst and landed with style.

In typical fashion we brought the camera to our friends' place but left it in the apartment.

After sledding we went back to our friends' place and had margaritas and a Tex-Mex potluck.
