Still a patch up on Katahdin's plateau and in portion of a chute...(taken yesterday 6/8 ).

;-)..unbelievable... Hey I know where that general area is... The "Border" lattitudes indeed got the goods.. Heading north on #201 from Skowhegan(Maine)..an easy drive for a Maine-iac....I got into ~14" powder on mediocre peaks(compared with Sugarloaf) but had just a great time. I was essentially heading to Quebec City to pick up a ww-canoe, but luckily guessed that maybe I might hit something...so brought along the skining gear. Was more than a nice surprise....

There are still snowfields on the northern Presidentials, too. Saw them up there this weekend. Wicked icy in spots, though, and very narrow dropping into chutes.
