What? Doesn't everbody bomb Outer Limits with a butt dangling skillfully between their lips?

Actually, in the early years of the National Ski Patrol, it was quite common for the Patrol to give an injured skier a cigarette to calm them down.

Also, many pictures and drawings of the late, great Hannes Schneider have him with a pipe and smoke coming from it. Boy how times have changed.
