Let's change the atmosphere on a Friday afternoon - What's on your CD player or E: drive this very minute - ??

I have a bootleg of the Grateful Dead at Cornell U on May 7, 1977. They just went from Scarlet Begonias into Fire on the Mountain. The big famous St. Stephen jam to follow soon....

How about you - ??

Floyd...The Wall.

Anyone else absolutely thrilled/anxious/etc. that they are performing together again this year.

Hands down, outside of the Beatles and Led Zepplin, and IMHO, the most influential group of ALL time.

Peace.

Saw them perform the Wall at Nasau coliseum in the late 70's.... Was one of the most amazing thing I've seen in my life..
Not a BIG fan of Floyd without Waters - glad they're back together - lets see what happens!

Saw Richie Havens in Woodstock the other night... Did a version of Floyds "On The Turning Away"... Amazing.. So I guess they are pretty influential..

Right now, Coldplay (a mix of non-album songs).

Before that, The Everyday Visuals (local band from NH).

Before that, my old band's CD.

Before that, Cake - Fashion Nugget

Before that I just don't know.

Yep, I just revived that CD recently. Then I found out that they are playing at Lupos in RI next month - I'll probably be going to that.

And now I'm going to put my Pat Metheny CD back in the rotation.

His new CD is pretty intense... It's one song..

I missed seeing him when he was around - but my friend said they played the entire thing from start to finish...

Since my "office" is usually the front seat of my truck: Ultimate Dance Hits (or something like that)

 What can I say, it keeps me awake on the 4am drive to work. :D

The Cornell GD show was on May 8th, 1977.

I believe the 7th was the Boston Garden show.

just keeping it real...

Thank you, thank you - you are correct. I have them both and get confused in my old age. Nice to see that Deadheads are still sticklers for accuracy........
