Ginn has released plans for its Battle Mtn development in CO.

Looks rather ambitious to me. Only three gondolas

Burke has released its site plans but no building elevations (i.e. renderings of what the buildings will look like). It will be interesting to see if they stick with their trend of castle spires or move toward something more New Englandish.

I really don't like the look of the Colorado plan as far as the skiing. It's hard to make out because there are so many drawings, but it looks like the skiing is only on the upper half of the mountain, on several faces with relatively short vertical, surrounded by houses. I should think if you owned a house there you would want to ski at Beaver Creek.

This map shows the trail designations a bit better:

The skiing definitely doesn't look all that interesting with rather short pods of trails. The disconnected vert appeard to be somewhere around 2000'. However, it does butt up against Vail's back bowls which is where I would spend my time :)

With Ginn's current financial situation, this project is likely on the very slow track.
