How did massive numbers of missed tackles show that Manning is a regular season QB? The Colts' defense was completely MIA after the first quarter.

Saints missed their share of tackles to, especially on Addai on several occasions.

Great game. The teams were equally talented. I might even give a slight edge to the Colts. The Saints out coached the Colts to have the opportunity to win. Game was decided on one great play by the Saints. The interception was more a great play by the Saints than a bad throw by Manning. If that pick six didn't happen, I bet Manning ties the game and then who knows.

Didn't see much of the game at all but the catch for the 2 point conversion was impressive...just get the ball across the goal line...

Broke record for most-watched TV show ever

The Super Bowl was watched by more than 106 million people, surpassing the 1983 finale of M*A*S*H to become the most-watched program in television history.
The Nielsen Co. estimated Monday that 106.5 million people watched the New Orleans Saints upset the Indianapolis Colts. That beats the M*A*S*H finale, which had 105.97 million viewers in an era when there were fewer television sets.

I did not contribute to either of those statistics.

No the massive number of passing yards 50K + and multiple playoff appearances and only 1 superbowl ring showhes a regular season QB. He owned the first half, sucked in the 2nd, brees just the opposite. Playing against the 25th best defense in the NFL the Saints and a team who turned over the vikings 5times and home and still needed overtime to win shoulda been a shoe in, thats what im saying!

Kind of lost interest myself, just saw the second half. Not the same game as I grew up watching, too much rule changes to promote the passing game. Makes investing into a solid team of core players a thing of the past. My only interest will be if defenses can adapt to these rule changes.

That being said I really enjoy that pick Manning threw. been reading all day it was a great play and prep by the db and that wayne was soft on his route. Some of this could be true but Manning threw it in a spot where the db could make a jump. A qb that could read defenses would have not thrown at that spopt b/c of where the db was. IMO, before tom brady became the Tom Brady, he would have not thrown that ball.

Yeah, Brady's playoff performance was out of this world this year:

(Shotgun) T.Brady sacked at NE 17 for -9 yards (T.Suggs). FUMBLES (T.Suggs), RECOVERED by BLT-T.Suggs at NE 17. T.Suggs to NE 17 for no gain (M.Light).

T.Brady sacked at NE 14 for -7 yards (R.Lewis).

T.Brady pass short middle intended for S.Aiken INTERCEPTED by C.Carr at NE 28. C.Carr to NE 25 for 3 yards (S.Neal, F.Taylor).

T.Brady pass deep right intended for S.Aiken INTERCEPTED by E.Reed at BLT 41. E.Reed to NE 34 for 25 yards. Lateral to D.Landry to NE 9 for 25 yards (S.Vollmer).

(Shotgun) PENALTY on NE-T.Brady, Delay of Game, 5 yards, enforced at NE 38 - No Play.

(No Huddle, Shotgun) T.Brady pass deep right intended for B.Watson INTERCEPTED by D.Landry at BLT 36. D.Landry to NE 22 for 42 yards (S.Vollmer).

(No Huddle, Shotgun) T.Brady sacked at NE 33 for -6 yards (D.Edwards).
Pats vs. Ravens:
C/ ATT YDS AVG TD INT RATING
T. Brady 23/42 154 3.7 2 3 49.1
Colts vs. Ravens:
C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT RATING
P. Manning 30/44 246 5.6 2 1 87.9

But I'm sure NE fans will find some way to say Brady was the better QB this postseason...

And a bad route by Wayne. There's no way that should've been an interception; even if the CB reads it correctly, Wayne should've been there to break up the pick, at worst. A #1 receiver needs to make that play. And catch passes that are dropped into his hands.

ZERO blame on Wayne based on how that route developed. Porter was sitting there waiting and had broken on the ball before Wayne had even turned around. I could see some blame being thrown at Peyton for making the throw. 99% of the time a corner in single coverage against Wayne is not going to have the balls to jump a route like that. Most will play much softer and be turning to run downfield with the receiver as if they show jump, Peyton will pump fake and go over the top for six.

watch it.......there wasn't a play for Wayne to make.

It's a timing play, though. Manning's throw and Wayne's break should've happened at the same time. It's out of the screen, but at the time Manning released, Wayne had position; he just broke a lot later than Porter did, which can't happen. He breaks at the right time, no problem.

Ok so your a what have u done for me lately guy thats fine, but you should not overlook the resume, hell one of the luckiest catches stuck to a guys facemask by the giants and were asking ourselves if brady is in montanas league, not only was brady not over his injury from last year yet he was playing hurt, and until the scoreboard changes from brady 3, manning 1 he can go hold his jockstrap.
