What's up with the sister site. http://forums.skimrv.com/forum-1.html. It's been down a whole bunch of late?
Welcome to AlpineZone, the largest online community of skiers and snowboarders in the Northeast!
You may have to REGISTER before you can post. Registering is FREE, gets rid of the majority of advertisements, and lets you participate in giveaways and other AlpineZone events!
Howie - goto www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com and input "http://forums.skimrv.com"
It will tell you if the site is actually down, or if it is a problem on your end.
On Windows you can try running this command from a command prompt: "ipconfig /flushdns".
Sometimes an ISp will cache DNS entries so if that's the case, there's little that can be done unless you contact your hosts.
Of course, there is the question of how it was down, then up, then down, then up and has been down, now for over a day. It would seeem a bad DNS would have been bad since the change?:-?
Are you now on, noski?
Anyone else not able to get on? If so, who is your provider?
Traffic has seemed to pick up, over there. But it is not a working situation to say "If it doesn't work for you, post it on that board."
