Tonight I had a rare night to myself, instead of hanging around watching TV and surfing for porn like I normally would I decided to head out for last minute solo MTB ride at Nass.

I got rolling right at 6:20 with the intention of doing our old stand-by route, but ended up making a slight variation towards the end. I hit up Cemetery twisties>Fat kid>Cornwall DH>Hinman>Johnnycake>Orchard DH>Sandy pelican>Scoville twisties>Jug>Done.

The loop came in right at 8 miles and took about 1:40. The ride felt great, this was the first time this year that I rode two days in a row. I'm really starting to feel flow on more and more sections of trail, and generally feeling better all around.

Good idea on prying away from the porn and getting a ride in on the bike, I did the same this morning! I pretty much did the same loop, but kept on Hinnmans, Jug, scoville twisties, B street, truck trail, short loop back to stone wall down hill to the boy scout bridge, to the car. About 10.3 miles.

The only thing that sucked was that I forgot a pair of gloves and with my grips getting bald it made it a little interesting since it appears they got a little rain last night. My hands either kept slipping or they would cramp up since I was holding on with a death grip. I guess I should put the new grips on that have been on the kitchen table for a couple weeks!

Yeah, we had some showers pass through here around midnight, I imagine that Nass got some of that. I thought about doing the loop that you did, but with the overcast skies it was getting dark in the woods earlier than I was expecting.

Now go put those grips on!
