Thinking Of Sugarbush

Anyone have any good info for staying at Sugarbush midweek in late January?

I am looking for something close if not on the mountain for 2 people.

The mountain looks sweet from the pictures on this board and I want to try it this year.

I've not stayed anywhere in the Valley beside the house in Waitsfield I'm renting now. I've usually stayed at Killington or Stowe. A friend of mine I work with was staying at a small B&B in Waitsfield. The resort's Sugarbush Inn I'm told is nice enough and gets you close to the mountain. Someone also told me the Sugarlodge is good. http://www.sugarlodge.com/

But, If it were me... I'd consider checking out John Egen's lodge which is on RT100 but still close to the access road. http://www.bigworldvermont.com/ It looks like a fun place, but that is just me.
