    I think I recall some Vermont ISPs another time being slow to update their DNS. I think it took several days that time.

    There are plenty of free DNS servers to use these days

    I usually set my devices to use this
    Google:
    8.8.8.8
    GTE
    4.2.2.2
    easy to remember and fast propagation



    Also quite often it's a local cache rather than ISP.. this command fixes that:
    in windows, open command prompt
    Code:
    ipconfig /flushdns
    On top of that browsers also cache DNS, so restart your browser
