Anyone else notices a bit of lag when loading the forums? We're on a new server and to me it seems slower.

Ah Ha.... Didn't realize that thread said anything about a new server. This was the first thread I saw it in.

As far as response times - I haven't noticed any lag at all.

It's been a bit sluggish for me today. It could be my end, but other sites seem to be loading okay.

seems reasonable to me.
if you have root on your server and know how to use SSH, check out tuning primer:
http://www.day32.com/MySQL/
Code:
wget [URL]http://www.day32.com/MySQL/tuning-primer.sh[/URL]
chmod 755 tuning-primer.sh
./tuning-primer.sh
then edit /etc/my.cnf with the suggestions and restart mysql
Code:
service mysql restart
some servers use:
Code:
service mysqld restart
.. depending on how crappy your existing mysql settings are this can make a big difference
