I've known third-graders with more common sense knowledge of how federal economics work. Alton oughtta be ashamed. But then again, I'm from Nashua originally, and we've had our own nutcase in the statehouse. :roll:

Another of the bill's sponsors, Sen. Robert Boyce, R-Alton, said the state needs to be more efficient.
"When the federal government runs out of money they just crank up the printing press and print some more bills. We can't do that," Boyce said.
