I saw in the Waterbury local paper that Black Diamond was once again running their Christmas Warehouse Sale between now and Christmas. I grew up wearing Black Diamond Fleece and jackets skiing. They were at one time made in Vermont, but they have since expanded their line greatly and are only doing wholesale/catalog sale. They used to have a very nice store in the University Mall in Burlington.
I went today and I was very impressed by the prices, quality of the fleece and their softshells. Some very good deals, but get there soon!
They are located on Gallison Hill Road in Montpelier, Vermont just east of the Route 302/2 Rotary. They are open 9-4.
